@PMOIndia Kindly arrange to provide a direct flight and daily train between Dibrugarh and Silchar, the major cities of Assam at only 360 Km apart but taking abt 24 hrs to travel by road. It will greatly benefit students and common ppl travelling btwn Dib & Slchr and boost trade.

Any flight to Silchar may be extended to Dibrgrh or any flight to Dib may be extended to Silchar. It will also reduce the gap btwn barak & upper Assam.

@himantabiswa sir, considering the prevailing situation when Barak Valley is totally cut off by road & rail connectivity, request for ur kind intervention for introduction of a direct flight between Silchar & Dibrugarh. The Kolkata Silchar flight may be extended to Dibrugarh.

@himantabiswa Sir, there is an urgent requirement for a direct flight between Dibrugarh and Silchar as many students from Upper Assam are studying in Silchar and vice versa. There is only one weekly train between these cities. A better communication will benefit people & trade.
