Tennessee JUCO | Top Hitters (2026 Season)
These guys are absolutely raking across the TCCAA right now ⬇️
H. Pantier (Walters State)
Hitting an unreal .489 with 16 doubles, 6 HR, and 45 RBIs — pure production.
C. Channell (Pellissippi State)
Batting .481 with a .899 SLG — extra-base machine.
N. Sergeant (Cleveland State)
Power + average combo: .462 AVG, 12 HR, 44 RBIs, 1.033 SLG 😳
J. Groves (Roane State)
Consistent bat at .455 AVG, tough out every AB.
J. Richards (Columbia State)
Dynamic threat: .446 AVG + 24 SB, gets on and causes chaos.
One session he started doing the Trout Step…after that session he hit .400 for the rest of the season with 16 bombs and 20 doubles🤯
Listen to Eugene talk about the origin of the Trout Step Across and how it can help a player who flys open and pulls off balls🐟🪜

Impression swings from @DeanMiller43 at #BTG23 + hitting it out of Dodgers Stadium lefty🤯 (He’s not a switch hitter)
A lot of players throughout history learned how to swing by emulating players they saw on tv and when you were a kid playing wiffle ball emulating swings like Sheffield, Ichiro, Mike Trout, Robinson Cano what did you focus on?
The Setup & the Finish. Even better would be choosing players similar body types to you, bottom/top hand dominant, length of levers, loose/tight mover, but you were a kid you were just having fun and exploring
But as a drill it can be really good especially for players who overthink and tend to get to mechanical and choosing a couple players with similar body types and different moves. Heck Cal Ripken Jr. had a different swing every week
