Imagine being a firefighter and Wes Anderson comes up to you in an all white suit and says “Um, can I ask— do you have— when you guys— was this experience— do you have any theory of what was… wrong with it, or.” The dream
I spoke to my old friend Mitch McConnell this morning, the senior Senator from Kentucky. He’s still recovering in the hospital. We talked for just shy of 20 minutes … about IRAN, UKRAINE, the unfolding situation in MAINE, my visit to the TR Presidential Library, and even a little bit of Senate history. I told him we want to see him back at work as soon as possible.
@donnabrazile It should have been enough having a Nazi tattoo.
It should have been enough when a woman step forward and said he physically abused her.
But it wasn't enough.
Taking this stance now is disappointing.
@impoliticeye you looney toons are all about the conspiracy of the timing. or, maybe, just believe her account that she felt compelled to come forward because the other woman (GOP affiliation) was being discredited bc of that. she wanted the truth out. and it is.
@nap__violator@BlimpusCrunch or believe her and the reporting jackass. she said she came forward because the GOP accuser was being discredited becuase of that affiliation. 'hey, I support his politics but he raped me. I need the truth to win out.' sometimes you looney tunes need to stop huffing your own
@impoliticeye the NYT honored her wish to stay off record about it at the time. she's explained why she was conflicted about coming forward then and now. so much fucking handwringing over the fact that an outlet published a vetted account of her being raped.
