I’m glad people are finally opening their notebooks and actually studying northern Somalia and its clans. The secessionist one-clan enclave has been spreading false claims that it controls the entire north, when in reality every clan controls its own cities. People should read about what happened on 25 August 2023, when the secessionists were driven out of the blue-marked area Khaatumo which is now officially recognized by the federal government.
