I see nothing wrong with what was said by the Gauteng MEC of Health. She is 100% correct. I’ve seen it with my own eyes where patients don’t want to sleep on beds because of pain but would rather stand or sleep on the floor.

We are here today to demand accountability from the RTMC Board and the immediate investigation of Interim CEO Refilwe Mongale.

In just a few months, she has:
• Terminated over 30 OMVL contracts, cutting off young South Africans’ livelihoods.
• Dismissed cleaners and announced more retrenchments coming in November.
• Shut down the RTMC Workshop, leaving state patrol cars unrepaired.
• Living lavishly on public funds, renting a luxury SUV for almost R200,000/month while claiming there’s “no money” to pay staff.

We are here because:
• The Traffic College that trains over 600 future officers is on the brink of closure.
• 900 more officers face possible retrenchment.
• South Africans deserve leadership that serves its citizens

We are demanding:
1️⃣ A forensic audit into Mongale’s spending and decision-making.
2️⃣ An immediate halt to retrenchments.
3️⃣ Transparency from the RTMC Board on the future of the Traffic College.
