@lnheritant@johnwalker_1986 I'd have been significantly more concerned if the managers who came in afterwards drastically improved Southampton's performances or results, but if anything they actually got worse, so you have to look at more than just the stats sometimes
@lnheritant@johnwalker_1986 In fairness to Martin (not my preference, but still get behind whoever it is) he overwhelmed at Southampton, getting promotion from nowhere that season, so as others have said, no matter who the manager was they were going to struggle
@cozy1872 Our fan base has become one of the worst for writing people off without giving them any chance, if the board brought back Caxhina I'd still be 100% behind him, I'd be gutted and upset, but 100% behind him ๐ซฃ๐
@RossMcIntosh1 European competitions require a percentage of home grown players, with respect, that alone makes your post pointless..... Without that I'd agree with you, but that's irrelevant because we can't operate without that principle
Workout doubt the best team of the knock out phase are going to lift their first champions League trophy in 20 or do minutes, battered Liverpool in the first leg, albeit pens to win it, battered Villa and Arsenal, now taken apart and experienced Inter team, fair play PSG
@49ersSportsTalk Mate there are still several thousand unwashed east end financial experts that are doubting it, even after official announcements.... Welcome to the crazy world of Scottish football, akin to Alice in Wonderland at times for it's madness and lunacy
@FacelessRanger When the first reports emerged, it suggested mid June for completion, we're desperate for need and that lot are desperate for any sign it's collapsed, but in reality how many fans have any clue how long these things should take
