Exactly. Iran and much of the ME have never truly been against the clock before. They controlled what the world desperately needed—oil—and could always outwait sanctions, diplomacy, or pressure.
The blockade flipped the script. Markets rerouted, alternatives came online, and now the regime is bleeding cash with storage filling up and production at risk. Not sure their intellectual/cultural framework is built for this kind of hard deadline. Time is no longer on their side.
