@dark_road_games This is silly.
They invested in those businesses long term because they knew they were the future.
Spotify is better than CD's. Netflix is better than Blockbuster.
The tech wasn't good enough at first and as it evolved it became more widely accepted.
@RoseSilicon That's a choice he's making. You're welcome to say you're not going to use AI.
Actively opposing it is different than the guy using his gas car.
@adam_dorr@BernieSanders There's something to be said for the concept, this will be very valuable when UBI is needed.
But the government needs to stay completely out it, have no oversight, no ability to interfere, etc. otherwise it just becomes another corrupt cash machine for our corrupt political class
@OliverJia1014 The current public use case of AI won't resemble what it is today
You won't be logging into Claude and a chat window or app
It will be integrated, at the manufacturing level, into everything you do. AI will a utility be pumped into your home like electricity.
@ReadFuturist@sweatystartup@TheAIObserverX The token is a temporary tool.
The Chat window isn't. It will be ubiquitous, intertwined into everything we do. Every electronic you buy, your car, lawnmower, fridge etc
The ChatGPT app won't even be a thing in 3 years. It will be piped into your house like electricity.
@sweatystartup So many of you hoping for a collapse are simply confused
These aren't apps. You still don't get. That won't even be a use case in 5 years.
If will be integrated throughout everything you buy and do - fully wired into your house like electricity.
