Proud to share that Major Mouiz Yaseen and Major Soniya Devendra Newaskar, both formerly serving with @unmissmedia , have been awarded the 2025 Military Gender Advocate of the Year Recognition Certificates.

Major Yaseen established a confidential grievance reporting channel and the Force Gender Database, while Major Soniya strengthened Conflict related sexual violence prevention efforts and Sexual Exploitation and Abuse audit tools.

This follows the award of Military Gender Advocate of the Year for 2025 to Major Abhlasha Barak who is serving in @UNIFIL_ , reflecting our sustained commitment to the Women, Peace and Security agenda.
