The Flyers are putting a beat down on the Jets. We’re getting closer to a Battle of Pennsylvania in the first round. Who would have thought that to start the year. Incredible bounce back year for both squads.
.@NHLFlyers entered the night 30th in the 32-team NHL in scoring and erupted for a 6-3 win vs visiting NJ. It was a season-high outburst, led by Tyson Foerster (2 goals) and Noah Cates (3 points). Philly is now an admirable 11-6-3 and playing much more relaxed under new Tocchet.
Tyson Foerster scored 2 goals in 17 seconds tonight. That is the fastest 2 goals by one single Flyers player since Jeff Carter scored 2 goals in 13 seconds against the Atlanta Thrashers on January 8th, 2008.
Coincidentally, @OHLHoundPower retired Jeff Carter’s number tonight.
Tyson Foerster has the Sidney Crosby seal of approval. 👍

Foerster is starting 2025-26 just as he finished the 2024-25 campaign...Dating back to March 27, 2025, of last season, Foerster has tallied 12 goals in his last 16 games. Only Sidney Crosby (14) and David Pastrnak (13) have scored more regular-season goals in that span.
The #OHL is mourning the tragic loss of @OHLIceDogs alumnus Mike Robinson, who passed away on Wednesday at the age of 32.

This is a big reason I consider Tyson Foerster mostly untouchable.
High offensive output ceiling as well as defensive shutdown ability. A very rare combination for a young kid with size.
#Flyers
Since Tyson Foerster scored against Toronto tonight, I'd like to say that I really like him. He looks to be a 20-goal scorer with an excellent defensive game at worst. Foerster has a lethal shot. If he'd score +30 goals per season, he would easily be a 1st line two-way winger.
