Starting something new has never been easier, and that's becoming a problem. When there's zero friction to pivot, founders abandon good ideas before they find a fit. Persistence used to be a default because rebuilding was expensive. Now it's a discipline you have to choose.

The multiplier framing is losing meaning. A better metric is scope of ownership. How much can one person be accountable for end-to-end? AI's real shift isn't doing the same work faster, it's one person owning what used to require a team.
