I know you believe trading can change your life.

Believe me it absolutely can.

But here's the advice I wish more people would hear:

1. Get a job first.

A stable income is one of the biggest advantages a trader can have.

2. Invest around 30% of your salary into a prop firm.

You don't need a $50K or $100K account to succeed. Start with a $10K account from a reputable prop firm. (Of course, if you choose FTM, I'll be happy to help however I can.)

A salary keeps your psychology stable. There's nothing more frustrating than trying to trade when it's your only source of income and every bill depends on your next trade.

Forget the gurus and expensive mentors for now.

Go to BabyPips Learn the basics support, resistance, risk management, and market structure. That's enough to build a solid foundation.

Then go offline.

Not every payout you see online is motivation. Sometimes it only creates pressure and unrealistic expectations.

Stay in your quiet place. Study. Practice. Be consistent.

Do this for 90 days, and come back to this post.
