A cracking haul of local year ticks at Ladywalk yesterday evening including a site first (and county first for me) drake Green-winged Teal, Greenshank and 2 Ruddy Shelducks.
Also a single late Wigeon, Ringed Plover and 3 LRP

Quick trip up to Coombe Abbey CP after work to try and find the Cattle Egrets but no luck.
I did find at least 6 (possibly 8) Ring-necked Parakeets nearby. Along with the Brandon birds, possible evidence that they're branching out from Coventry into Warwickshire?
Quick stop at Brandon Marsh this evening on our way back from the Peak District yielded a few local year ticks - Cuckoo, 6 House Martins, 4 Sedge Warbler, 5 Common Sandpiper and 2 LRP.
Also singing Garden Warbler, Water Rail and one less Lapwing.
Chuffed to find this cracking male Redstart on my morning walk and only five minutes from home.
3 Yellow Wagtails were an added bonus.

A couple of decent county year ticks in the evening sun at Brandon Marsh, post work yesterday - Ring-necked Parakeet and the pair of (sleeping) Ferruginous Ducks brings the local year list up to 108.
