Poor video & photo of the distant Kentish Plover at Rutland Water this morning. The Curlew Sandpiper at Etton-Maxey Pits,Cambs. was a little closer but no joy with the Purple Heron.

6 Common Tern & 10 Swift.
Bit late to the party today (8 hours in fact), but over the moon that these pair of Black-Winged Stilt were still at Brandon Marsh,Warks. late afternoon. A welcome first for the reserve.
A trip down to Bedfordshire this morning for Nightingale. They didn’t disappoint. Also a showy Garden Warbler & then on the way home, two Whimbrel at Clifford Hill, Northants.
