I AM A CHILD OF THE 60'S and 70'S.

The black race wasn't morbidly obese.

There was no anti-white racism industry.

There was no “America you owe me something" mob.

We never heard the N-word or F-bombs coming out of our radios.

Our cartoons didn't try to turn us gay.

Movies and TV shows didn't want to depress us about our world or our lives.

Actors didn't tell us who to vote for.

Nobody told us what jokes were allowed.

There were no TRANS kids.

Nobody told you their pronouns.

A man was a man, a woman was a woman, and nobody pretended otherwise.

Nobody lost their job or their home or their family or their friends for merely stating biological facts.

Nobody had food allergies.

I could go to school without getting jumped.

We played outside until the streetlights came on.

We had family dinners with no phones at the table.

Families didn't break up over politics.

We respected cops, teachers, and the flag.

We celebrated CHRISTMAS, not Kwanzaa.

Nobody was "offended" by EVERYTHING.

If anybody WAS offended by something, it was THEIR PERSONAL PROBLEM, not a national crisis.

And here's the good part:

Women hadn't willfully destroyed every aspect of entertainment - from movies to TV to video games.

Call me old-fashioned and outdated, but I really miss those days.

So God, if you're listening, this is my prayer:

Return us to the good old days of American civility, PLEASE.

I am a J6er.

I was a first-time non-violent offender. My only charge was illegal picketing and parading inside the Capitol — a Class B misdemeanor with the exact same sentencing guidelines as walking your dog off-leash in a national park.

They put 24 FBI agents on my case.

They installed a pole camera outside my house.

An agent followed me to my son’s baseball practice.

When my son left with a friend, the agent stayed on him.

They put me on the domestic terrorist no-fly list. Quiet Skies. Secondary screening. Humiliation every time I tried to travel.

Every newspaper ran headlines about me.

That is not normal law enforcement.

They weaponized the IRS against me.

That is political persecution of a dad who walked through an open door, saw no violence, committed none, and chanted “Stop the Steal” for 22 minutes.

They treated a $50-ticket offense like a national security threat because of who we were and what we believed.
