@a_c__01001101 @FRHoffmann1 This quite interesting had no idea about that. Russian sources claim that the attack was thwarted (though of course they would) and the SBU claims it was a success (though of course they would). I guess we will see in the next couple hours.

@tarasmi I would assume they’ve already done so. The Bridge was closed from 4am to 9am UK time. It was reopened at 9am. Seems like the damage was limited.

It is again “Moscow claims”, but there is photos of the debris. Ukraine has been using these systems outside of Russian staging areas, their conservative use is due to stock not restrictions

@The_Lookout_N @MaximeTrekLis Taurus delivery would probably take months. Ukraine currently does not operate any compatible airframes and I doubt that Scholz would have accelerated any integration program of that sort. Merz has only been chancellor for 2 weeks, not much you can do in that time.

@casualdiot @MarQs__ @The_Lookout_N I do not think a completed integration has been done, but it was considered. Again, the issue would be that Scholz did not allow for delivery, hence I do not think that he would accelerate any integration program for Ukrainian airframes.

They also do not have delivery platforms, Taurus is not compatible with soviet airframes or the F16 and Merz has only been chancellor for 2 weeks, I doubt that in those two weeks engineers managed to integrate Taurus on those airframes

@MarQs__ @casualdiot @The_Lookout_N It still doesn’t really sound different. As of now Germany has not delivered long range strike capabilities. They may do so in the future, but that would take months since afaik Scholz did not allow Ukr training on Taurus. France and UK lifted their restrictions in November.
