A delusion a lot of men have is thinking the average guy on a dating app is some 6ft3 chad in finance.
Your competition is a crowd at a football game, the last 10 guys you saw in a subway, the last guy that doordashed you food. This ain't unbeatable competition.
Some Senate predictions:

Dems get to 54
*for RCV states, this is the initial margin, I think they get >50
JonBenet Ramsey. Zero possibility that an outside intruder would murder her and then go to the kitchen to root around for a pen and paper before sitting down to write a three-page ransom note for literally no reason whatsoever.
@TNG512@SwannMarcus89 The DNA on the knife is laughable. I do think it looks like they tried to make the crime scene look different than they found it but there are plausible reasons for that that aren’t just “this very obviously normal girl went psycho and killed her roommate for no reason”
He is the first "Smiley Face" victim because the idiot who started the entire thing was Kevin Gannon, the lead detective on the Patrick McNeil disappearance. Gannon was subsequently removed from the case for being retarded.
The claim McNeil was actually the victim of a serial killer and didn't just fall in the river stems from such compelling arguments as "he disappeared in February and there were fly larvae found in his corpse, which is abnormal for the winter. Therefore, his corpse must have spent time inside."
Except if you spend 5 seconds researching his death you'll learn his body wasn't FOUND until April. There was fly larvae in the corpse because the eggs were laid in spring while he was drifting down the river
Literally every dumbfuck Smiley Face Killers argument has comparable intellectual rigor to the above.
This story makes me so mad lol
Her family is coping by adopting this insane theory where she was captured by slavers and it became a true crime thing
I watched the 3-hour documentary and the best evidence they had was that the web traffic on her website goes up on her birthday
Stevens offers her most detailed explanation (in writing) of what happened. Distilled further: She made demands of him, which, she acknowledges, he met. But because he didn't want her to campaign with him because she was making demands, she then pulled her endorsement

@SwannMarcus89 eye with no signs of being that level of a sociopath before or after, instead of the more likely scenario being that the thug who they never mentioned at any point even though it would have helped their case did it and they panicked thinking they’d be blamed or something
@SwannMarcus89 Hot take: this is actually a good argument for Amanda Knox being innocent. You have to believe a random American girl and her Italian boyfriend met some random thug and just immediately decided to brutally murder her roommate for no reason and despite years of being in the public
@SwannMarcus89 That reminds me of looking up JonBennet Ramsey and seeing how many people were like, “no way her mom would hit her for wetting the bed, I can’t see a mother doing that.” Oh, you don’t believe the most widely documented filicide scenario could happen? You just don’t see it?
Two thoughts:
1) Watching Dan implode as he sees the writing on the wall is incredibly funny and I hope it keeps up, and
2) the take that if only Trump wasn't to quote his 1st SOS a fucking moron and didn't have the disposition of a toddler, everything would work never gets old
In #TX31, Rep. John Carter is 84-years-old and seeking a 13th term in office. After he gave a barely coherent interview with @KUT Austin, I decided to publish my interview with Dale Ross, fmr GOP mayor of Georgetown, TX.
He said Carter has been suffering from the early stages of dementia, and it's basically been an open secret down there. "You hear stuff about slurred speech and things like that. But he just likes being a congressman. It’s like a Mitch McConnell thing.”
Today, I sent a letter putting New Jersey’s port and terminal operators on notice: importing Russian diesel violates federal law and could carry serious civil and criminal consequences.
New Jersey will not stand by while Donald Trump supports Vladimir Putin at the expense of Americans. Instead of lowering costs, these imports help finance Putin’s war against Ukraine and a campaign of violence and terror that endangers our servicemembers abroad.
As a Navy veteran, I cannot let that stand unchallenged. Our ports must not be complicit.
