@ClareONeilMP Hi @ClareONeilMP , being a Cyber Security Project Manager, I and many like me find it difficult to secure permanent jobs due to visa situation while awaiting #887visa, we are here Onshore ready to contribute, but DOHA has put #887visa on least priority to process with 25+ m wait
From June till date
2million visas processed.
About 200 of 887 visas granted
About 20000 887 visas in queue unprocessed
887 applicants' lives stuck hopelessly.
Govt response:it's a difficult choice we had to make

@ClareONeilMP Agree to all you said, but, there’s an oversight in your policy. There is a skill shortage in jobs with requirements Australian Citizen only. Just like you need new staff in DOHA to process visa. The offshore temporary or permanent skilled migrants can’t fulfil this gap 1/2
