I now live in Australia, and it’s painful to explain that I must fly back to India on holidays just to fight a court case for a property I rightfully own. This is unfair & discouraging for honest NRIs who trusted the system.

@andrewjgiles this is an unbelievable figure 35,000 invites in Dec 22 for 189 visas, well done. But *why 887 Onshore visa is totally neglected?* 887 Visa applicants are living in Aus as part of community and going through immense mental stress of waiting 27+ months for processing

Similar visa must have been granted before covid as visitors and students coming to australia were same as now,however onshore visa like 887 which use to take 9-12 months earlier is now taking 25 months,so please stop glorifying and please work

887PR applications are simply been de-prioritized. Compare to 189 & 190 visa grants, records of past yrs show this clearly. It's slow bcos there's been only 1 or 2 case officers processing 887 for yrs.
