A massive day in downtown Cincinnati — we’ve cut the ribbon on the former Macy’s building, now the largest apartment community in our urban core with 341 new homes.
This is a marquee example that our strategy to bring more housing and more vibrancy to our urban core is working.
My budget priorities: operating, capital & ways to pay for it.
- Capital: Pave, Pave, Pave - additional ~$30M needs to be put to roads.
- Operating: Public Safety, pension, $ to help rid of blighted vacant buildings, $ to reduce illegal dumping, investments needed to grow.
