@paxtrader777 I’ve been trading your OR framework for a while and ended up codifying it directly on the DOM.
No indicators. No prediction. Just your logic made explicit at execution.
Thought you might appreciate seeing it. Built on @NinjaTrader i would love 2 expand..gr8 2 learn

There are so many things I see online about what it takes to be a successful trader, as if it’s written in black and white. Some of it may be true, but it always depends on the perspective behind it.

I’ve watched successful traders do things I simply couldn’t do. I asked myself why I didn’t just copy them if that was the path to success. I tried. It didn’t work for me. But there were similarities in their traits that I could take with me and make my own.

The successful traders I’ve been around all shared certain characteristics. They had the ability to slow things down when markets were speeding up. Many traded multiple products, instead of just focusing on one. They didn’t trade every day. They gave trades room to work and pressed hardest when market conditions truly aligned with their strategies.

They were deeply driven and consumed by the business, but not at the expense of their lives outside of trading. They built strong self-awareness, knew when they were in situations they shouldn’t be in, and had the discipline to walk away when others couldn’t.

They didn’t chase other people’s performance. They chased their own vision.

And the most important thing I’ve learned: none of this had anything to do with strategy. Every one of them had a different style. Even when they used similar tools, that’s not what made them great.

So build your own path. What worked for someone else may have been right for them, but it may not be right for you. You can learn from others, from style to strategy, but in the end, you still have to make it your own.

You MUST have these pivots on your chart. All credit to @paxtrader777 for teaching me this. Expanded the concept to lower timeframe. I learned this simply using my eyes and ears. Youse can do the same 😆…watch the video.
