Because Joe Davis & John Smoltz were brutal to listen to today. Here’s the Brewers call by radio announcer Lane Grindle

Can we please get the soft porn ads off playoff broadcasts, TBS, Fox, NBC, @MLB? My son wants to watch baseball with Dada, but how do I justify that when a half-naked women could come on screen anytime?? This is America’s Pastime. Parents shouldn’t have to worry about this.
Hands down one of the best exchanges between reporters and an NFL head coach I’ve ever seen, featuring Titans HC Robert Saleh and the local media.
What started as a simple question about the complexities of Saleh’s zone defense and why there might be some early growing pains turned into nearly seven minutes of incredible insight.
Saleh explains why the system takes time to learn but can eventually produce top-five defenses. He breaks down how players learn to attack offenses by understanding what they’re trying to do to them, rather than simply dropping to a spot and defending grass.
He also dives into the evolution of his defensive philosophy, drawing from his experiences around Pete Carroll’s Cover 3/Legion of Boom system, Vic Fangio, Monte Kiffin and others. He discusses the key positions that make the system work, his overall philosophy on defense and so much more.
I’ve heard DeMeco Ryans speak glowingly about Robert Saleh, how brilliant he is and how instrumental he was in DeMeco’s development as a coach. But I don’t think I fully appreciated what he meant until watching this.
Just an incredibly bright defensive mind.
And what makes this especially fascinating from a Texans perspective is that DeMeco is essentially building and running a variation of that same defensive philosophy, with some of his own wrinkles.
It’s particularly relevant right now given Houston’s struggles with defensive communication and executing its coverage rules. Saleh provides some excellent perspective on why these systems can be so difficult to master, how players eventually develop a deeper understanding of what offenses are attacking, and why that understanding allows them to play faster and more aggressively.
Must watch.
On Britain's Got Talent, an illusionist sat on stage while a sheet was pulled over a chair, making him instantly disappear and reappear in a different spot.
When asked how he did it, he offered to make an exception and explain.
He put on a reflective white jumpsuit and turned on UV lights to show the audience the secret escape route on the back of the chair.
Then came the real twist.
Even with the white suit glowing, the lights fully up, and everyone watching every move, he stepped back into the chair, dropped the sheet, and vanished into thin air again in a split second!
Or you can make your own for like $20… cheap Bluetooth hardware, belt clip I took from my garage door opener, and a Bluetooth earpiece to send my recorded audio of myself calling the pitch call to (can’t hear it in video).
Question is if DIY PitchCom is game legal 😅
“I was not going to go to Chris Sale and ask him if he could pitch he would have to imitiate that, when I stepped in my office this morning he was sitting in my chair and said I feel unbelievable”

Josh Naylor is 5-foot-10, 235 pounds, and ranks near the very bottom of MLB in sprint speed. Baseball-Reference says no one his size had ever stolen more than 10 bases in a season. He's stolen 30. A thread on how the slowest man on the field robs everyone.
My eyes were wet from start to finish. I thought of being little in a big world & watching my son's first tries at this mad game. ESPN's Open to the NHL season is beautiful. I didn't expect to cry today-this is stunning. There's nothing like this sport. We at ESPN love the sport as you do. ❤️ Enjoy.
