@BuffaloRon That sounds a lot like ours. I made my own wedding dress and did my own flower bouquets out of silk flowers. We rented a small restaurant/banquet hall for $1,200 with dinner catered. Total with cake, beer kegs, DJ and cheap champagne, we spent $2,800.

Okay friends here's the current situation. My faucet is loose. This space between the sink and the cabinet is 2-3/4 in. The nut is 13/16. So far I've tried a box end wrench, channel locks, adjustable wrench... Nothing works. No room to turn a tool. Any ideas?

It's that time of year. The turtles are all laying nests, and hopefully I can mark them and keep predators out of them. Something dug up every nest we had last year.

I learned today it takes more than twice as long to butcher a dozen chickens when my husband helps me. Not sure how that math is mathing, but it's true. I average 7 minutes per chicken by myself. With him, it took three and a half hours, or, 17 minutes per chicken. 🤷‍♀️

I didn’t marry my wife because she’s white.

She didn’t marry me because I’m Black.

We got married because we share the same values, the same faith, and the same vision for raising a family.

At no point did marrying a white woman make me less Black.

At no point did marrying a Black man make my wife less white.

What it made us was a family.

The people obsessed with race can’t understand that most Americans don’t choose friends, spouses, or family based on skin color. We choose them based on character, values, and love.

The civil rights movement wasn’t about putting race at the center of everything. It was about moving beyond it.

@AngryDockDog That's a difficult situation to navigate. We had something similar happen with a neighbor who gave us a tiny motorhome. It felt weird enjoying it.
