So you know how when you post a reply to someone your post is typically right underneath theirs you know because relevance is usually the default, well I don’t even see my posts when I reply now. That is a clear indicator that I’ve been shadow banned. There is absolutely no reason for that whatsoever especially when nothing has changed on the app and I noticeably in getting zero views while a premium subscriber. @grok no emails, no warnings, nothing just a complete shadow ban.

I attended the Byron Donalds townhall event today at the VFW in Largo. My takeaways:

1. He was incredibly well liked and received by the veteran community in attendance. He got a lot of applause on several topics.

2. He was more patient than I would have been with some of the “questions” asked (he took many). I put questions in quotations because some of the people had lengthy dissertations and rambled on about their specific concerns — one in which this one lady seriously wanted the next governor to stop people from having Air BNBs “because they’re ruining our peace and quiet.” He answered her politely in a truthful, thoughtful manner, emphasizing how the constitutional manner of Florida isn’t going to usurp Floridians’ opportunity to own homes and use them as rental properties (a few of my friends do this).

3. He surprised me with his vast knowledge of the financial world, the tax code, economy, and the Constitution — both state and US.

4. He hardly ever used the filler interjection “uh” as a pause to move through his statements. As a former public relations and public speaking professor, I would teach my students how you illustrate and expose your lack of understanding of topics and poise with the repeated use of it. He gets a 💯 from me on that one.

5. Like my friend told me (and I posted), he is incredibly personable and genuine. He answered many questions in length and, even though he had to leave to go to another event in another county, he met with everyone there.

6. Finally, he answered my question about Dr. Ladapo when I met him. My phone had died by that time (I didn’t know people would be asking questions that were more like soliloquies) but he said he is considering “Dr. Ladapo as the surgeon general.” He just wanted me and everyone else to know it all depends on if he would want to stay and they have discussed it.

All in all, unlike the majority of the haters, I objectively view him as someone who would be much more effective at running Florida than David Jolly. If he does end up winning the primary, I will definitely vote for him over Jolly.

She signed the damn contract. Alaska law anomaly clause intended parents get to decide. Diagnosis hits they invoke the clause she refuses the abortion packs up and runs to Texas. That is a breach. Clear as day. Now she is sitting in Dallas while Ken Paxton the guy running for Senate jumps in like the contract never existed and starts ordering hospitals around so the state can play guardian.

Once that kid is born in Texas fine make him a ward of the state if that is the hill everyone wants to die on. But the money she owes the California couple for walking away from the deal she signed does not magically disappear. They are already suing her for the payments plus damages. If she fires up a GiveSendGo or GoFundMe and the sympathy dollars start rolling in those intended parents should march right back to court and demand every extra cent be counted toward what she still owes them. Breach is breach. Crowdfunding does not rewrite a contract.

People who cannot stomach the hard clauses in these agreements should never sign them in the first place. You do not get to take the money carry the pregnancy then bolt across state lines when the terms get uncomfortable and expect everyone else to pretend the paper never mattered. Paxton can posture all he wants about Texas law and the born child. The financial mess she created by ignoring the contract she signed is still hers.
