@AdrianTechARP My bad analogy. Better analogy: I install defective tires. One goes flat. My BMW now refuses to start, so i can't drive to the shop to get good tires. I blame both the defective tires, AND BMW.
@AdrianTechARP Yes a CrowdStrike bug caused the issue. A Windows architecture decision (allowing 3rd party kernel drivers) enabled an app bug to crash the OS into BSOD boot loop for all users of the app. Not ideal.
@TF_Fan_1986 The fact is that MS gave CrowdStrike (and many others) permission to brick machines via a BSOD boot loop by allowing them to load kernel drivers.
@TF_Fan_1986 The fact that malware can live in the kernel on Windows is exactly why Microsoft shares the blame. Apple deprecated 3rd part kernel extensions. MS needs to do the same.
@punkemoandy@ThisIsNoahEvans @ConciergePixel Microsoft shares the blame for allowing third party kernel drivers. The stability of the OS should be responsibility of the vendor, not the vendor and every third party to whom they give kernel access. Third party apps should not be able to crash the operating system.

@FitbitSupport@r_webb18 Really? Your advice is to manually keep track of our step streaks? Why remove a feature that is both a beloved motivator and a major brand lock-in feature? This decision is on Google. Fitbit would never have done this. Has "do no evil" expired?
What happened to my 1125 day step streak? This was a major motivator for me. It was also the main reason I would have previously never left the Fitbit Family. Now its just gone!?! This is worse than a bug, it was a decision to remove a major feature. Why?
@fitbit In what universe is removing the feature that was my major motivator and that locked me into the Fitbit brand an "improvement"? If I want to keep track of my streak manually, I can do that on a Garmin. You should be asking yourself why Google wants to sabotage the Fitbit brand
