Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji had announced Startup India initiative in 2016. In line with the aims & objectives of #StartupIndia, @I@IndiaDST launched National Initiative for Developing and Harnessing Innovations (NIDHI) programme.

#NIDHI offers comprehensive support from start to scale up through array of programmes. Through NIDHI-TBI, DST supports setting up of incubation centers. NIDHI PRAYAS provides grants to innovators enabling them to convert their ideas to prototypes. NIDHI Seed Support Programme provides early stage financial assistance to startups. NIDHI EIR provides fellowship to graduating students to pursue entrepreneurship.

@IndiaDST has supported 175 incubators and 12000+ Startups. Over the years NIDHI has created a huge impact in strengthening the startup ecosystem & contributed significantly in making India a startup destination.
