Indeed, they do totally nothing. Holding leaders accountable for misuse of public resources is an important aspect of civic engagement and can lead to positive changes in governance. It's good to see Gen Z taking an active role in demanding transparency.
It's very funny that the government is scared of unarmed, peaceful youth protesters and can deploy the army as quickly as possible, unlike when there are banditry attacks. Gen Z are peaceful protesters fighting for what they believe is right for future generations.
The courts ruled that the army shouldn't be deployed in the streets... Whats up with the army men leaving Nyayo Stadium. On what grounds are they being deployed? Doesn't no one respect the rule of law?
