@ewarren It’s time to confront the reality of the 60-vote filibuster rule. It was never intended by the Framers. Rules are subordinate to the Constitution. Per Art I,Sec 3 @VP has Senate vote if tied meaning a tie breaking vote. It applies to any Senate vote since any vote can end in tie!

But if you want the ultimate precision, you will need to develop an equation that determines the difference going to 0 as the number of decimal places goes to infinity, solved using calculus. That was never my intent, fellow Geek Squad members.

Pi to 5 places is 3.14159.
Using 22/7 is 3.14286, only .00127 off, which is less than .00159 off by using 3.14. You can always consider using hours, minutes, and seconds as fractional days in both cases if you want more precision. 😎

Measure the circumference of a flat circle of any size. Divide by its diameter, and you get Pi.

The approximation 3.14 is 99.95% accurate. Good for most Pi emergencies.
