Cameroonian terrorist forces opened fire on a Biafran meeting in the Abana area of the Bakassi Peninsula, resulting in one death and three injuries.

This unit, named the Biafra Marine Corps (BMC), will operate independently of the Biafra Naval Force and will have its operational headquarters in Eket.
