Why do you think the grocery store asks for your phone number for a discount? They already have all of your information. If you pay with cash and try to buy alcohol, you have to show your I.D. If you pay with your APPLE PAY on your phone, they have your information.

I guess if you are a fool and pay cash only and buy no alcohol, you could shop at higher prices with no discounts and no need to show your I.d. If you pay with any other method, you had to show your I.D. To get that bank account.

Yes they did. And the law required that 90 days pass before the Insurance companies could try to collect on the premiums that were not being paid. I’m not sure who got the subsidy for those who did not pay their small share. One company (major company which served California for years) went out of business, or chose not to go along with this madness. Other companies were, I’m guessing from what transpired, were told to go along or be sued by the Obama administration.

When Obama are came about, I was a healthcare trained broker. I trained to sell Obamacare after the government tried to get rid of brokers and hired Navigators. They said selling healthcare was like selling shoes. Anyone could figure it out. In the end I did not sign the contract. During training the contract told us we would not be able to ask if the person is a citizen here in California. It was set up for FRAUD.

Obamacare ruined the whole insurance medical insurance in my opinion. Those who went along made money. I could not participate in good conscience.
