I just watched amit interview with fundstrat Tom Lee. I feel there are lot tailwind for Ethereum coming. Ethereum has the largest staked economic security by far (3x solana), which holds the monopoly on programmable blockchain. At $300b mc vs 2140B mc BTC, there's definitely a bigger move if Ethereum starts moving.
I switched my BTC to ETH. I have a small 1.5x leverage onchain at 5% interest.
This is an astute observation regarding the EV tax credit & the benefit of the new auto loan tax deduction. @Micro2Macr0 also pointed out you can maximize on both the EV credit and the auto loan benefits before Sept 30. I bet all the auto companies are busy educating the customers on this very soon!
@otium33@jrouldz@APompliano Re Quantum threat go Bitcoin
Bitcoin can simply upgrade the hashing algorithm. Every bit added is exponential. Currently sha256. Make it sha2048 or new class of quantum resistant hashing algorithm. Satoshi thought about before here in an old forum post

"It's fair to say that folks, both government and commercial, come to us and they know that they have a very even-keeled public company that just builds rockets and satellites, and executes against that and nothing else"
"That becomes valuable to people."

I had to mute "Zohran Mamdani" from my timeline. We know he thinks billionaire should not exist, and he wants the state to "acquire" the means of production. That's enough to conclude he is a communist. The more attention given from the left, or from the right by playing to your emotion is not productive. New Yorkers: Go vote when the time comes. All of this is noise from now until then.
I have been thinking about my perfect portfolio.
$TSLA 10,000 shares => currently 2,600 + leaps
$RKLB 10,000 shares => currently 10,000
$HOOD 10,000 shares => currently 9,200
$HIMS 10,000 shares -> currently csp 20 (2000)
The BBB failed, and I don't hear anything today. This may not be the end of Elon Musk & Trump feud. Market is closed, and enjoy 4th of July weekend for now! $TSLA
I rarely post a lot my trades but here's an inside look at what I did today. Typical I do plenty of option selling, buy to cover, and acquiring more shares.
Closed CSP $HIMS today for $850 profit. Gonna enjoy 4th july weekend with it.
CSP $HIMS $48 7-11 (next week) $4.2 premium
(aggressive, lower my cost-basis for long term hold)
CSP $CRCL $215 7-11 (next week $2k premium
(hedging my downside risk)
CC $HOOD $115 8/15 $36k premium
(hedging my downside risk, and allocating to more shares after I close this)
Below is the wheel report generated by my trading assistant.
$QQQ nasdaq 100 looks so good.
Loaded up bottom of March and now up 20% on this position. This is my blanket bet on top tech like aapl, nvda, pltr, amzn. I find it exhausting predicting big techs. I enjoy more researching on small caps.
While having dinner, I watched recommended YT video from Bloomberg: The New Rules of Building Wealth | Bullish. It started out with an influencer creating a case for GenZ needing to build generation wealth because most of us do not inherit money and building wealth with a home is not feasible anymore. Then it became a slow pitch toward an investment company with $12B AUM, on why retail are not well informed. I paused and checked the performance...

For the record, my $tsla q2 deliveries estimate was the most accurate. Maybe I got lucky but i felt should be higher than others, loosely based Bloomberg number I saw (and deleted) and picking the top percentile from all the estimates available and adjusting for the higher sales in China and Norway toward end of the quarter.
I was asked about $unh and $oscr and my answer is always I'm not a fan of healthcare industry because it's low margin, slow growth unless there is some unethical stuff like $unh not paying claims. $oscr looks good as a product. I might even use it after retire but not compelling enough as an investment yet. I could be wrong but i rather not risk where i dont feel enthusiastic about it.
Fun fact: i used lead technical team to build health insurance system on behalf one of the country largest payer (health insurance) with one of the top consulting in the country. I specialized in a premium and claims later.
