@NepuContext Either an excel spreadsheet about all of Lastation's imports and exports, or she's looking for fabric for her latest cosplay.
Hmm... scratch that, she's probably doing both.
@NepuContext And have Histoire shouting at me every other day to get my wife to stop playing games and to start doing her work? No thanks.
I'll gladly join her in lazing around playing games though. :D
I'm announcing my latest project, a dating sim that I'm calling Xeupil: A Fast-Food Love Story.
The graphics are very placeholdery right now, but in terms of programming, it's practically finished.

Bad game design is actually just unpopular game design.
In other words, you don't get it anymore because other people didn't like it.
This is why I respect janky games more than highly polished ones. They dare to appeal to the non-mainstream.
@IndieGameNews1 No, I think you're right. You might use inventory items on Dizzy, but platforming is a big part.
In which case, my first adventure game was probably either Day of the Tentacle, Curse of Monkey Island, or Broken Sword 2. I don't remember which though.
Got an update for you about Tokimeki Memorial's Sega Saturn. The patch's team has been slowly working on the English translation and is making essentially a help wanted ad. The current patch crashes a lot and we could use people with hacking and debugging experience. Let us know!
@IndieGameNews1 Sorry for the late response. (I just post and don't look back.)
The reason for the huge amount of dialog is that if I think someone might use an item on something. Then I write a unique response for it. So I always write too much.
Also yes, there is a lot of McKraken influence.
Just a little update to say that the game is almost finished.
All's left is the voice acting and bug fixing.
The voice acting is likely to take a while.
There are over 10,000 lines of dialog in the game.
