@Cernovich I'm so thankful my mother flat out told my dentist "NO!" when he wanted to rip my wisdom teeth out. Same with braces.
I only have one odd tooth, so no need for braces.
My current dentist thinks it's "so cool" Everytime he looks in my mouth for my biannual cleaning.
@CoffeeBlackMD I once read "Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly."
I was confused at first but realized the wisdom.
If something is worth it, then doing it poorly is beneficial.
Example: A person needs to clean their home.
So they clean 10 minutes/day.
Better than nothing.
This is my little sister.
She was born on Christmas Day, the youngest of six children. She had Down syndrome. Doctors said she would never amount to much and suggested that she could be aborted or sent away to live in an institution so my parents wouldn't be burdened. My parents disregarded that advice.
She endured multiple open-heart surgeries before she was three years old. She came through that and grew into an amazing human being. She was an accomplished speaker, advocate, and actor. She has an IMDB profile. She graduated with honors from high school and attended college classes. She learned to drive, got married, and lived a full, independent life. She was an inspiration to tens of thousands of people who attended her speeches.
She was an incredible daughter, sister, aunt, and wife, and a dear friend to countless people. She passed away recently and left a huge hole in so many people's lives. As she once said, "People who have Down syndrome can change the world. Being smart is not always what makes people happy. Loving and being loved is what makes people happy." She was so happy, and she brought so much happiness to others because she loved (and was loved) unconditionally.
I wish you had met her. You might not have murdered your baby.
@japan_nobunaga I love this because I just realized how often Americans rename each other, even when we can pronounce the names correctly.
My elderly neighbors have nicknames for all of their neighbors.
Hilarious
A protip for morning coffee is using high protein fat free milk.
Fairlife or equivalent offbrands work great.
I put 6 oz in my coffee this morning. 60ish calories, 10g protein.
Excellent.
@anymanfitness Gotta learn to plan efficiently! I assigned a written class assignment with 300 students. I knew what I was getting into. 300 graded papers. Several redos and late submissions. (I teach 5th grade. Gotta have some leniency)
@anymanfitness I think the irony is that exogenous T works even better and synergistically with the the modifications you've discussed.
Then, sometimes it's the exogenous T that give a man the drive to fix his baseline lifestyle.
Low carb usually fail long term in two basic ways:
1) Someone simply quits.
Always talks about "Should get back on low carb" while eating a donut.
2) Cheat every weekend and gorge more than they would have previously, negating any benefit from it throughout the week.
