It’s incredible that a non vaccinated tourist has more right to enter the country than vaccinated visa holders who wish to leave for a week or two to visit relatives after 19 months.

@SammualM Realistically, I think a few negative weeks of job numbers domestically may pose an opportunity, an influx of travellers would result in many hotels and other tourist attractions having to take on staff again, their focus is domestic.

@rtenews Extremely frustrating he can waltz into the country while Ireland is under a travel ban to the US. Should be representing the needs of Irish citizens stranded in the US for 18 months +, not glamorous enough I suppose.
