An update on preparation of our amazing new Lambeosaurus skull. The oldest Lambeosaurus probably and the only specimen from the USA. #FossilFriday#publiclands#dinosaurs

Hidden amongst these fossil salamander vertebrae were some vertebrae from lizards, or maybe snakes (right)! Collected by Larry League, Hell Creek Formation, 66 million years old. #fossilfriday
3D prints of a skeleton for a forthcoming immersive exhibit at Badlands Dinsaour Musuem. This is based on some new dinosaur behavior research and some cool new fossil specimens! #dinosaurs#3dprinting#northdakota
#ThrowbackThursday - McGillivray House
Built around 1895 by A.C. McGillivray, this house is constructed of native sandstone. The original, hand-cut rock was covered at some point with stucco. The stable, converted to a garage, is located on the northwest corner of the property.
FYI: the jugal and QJ are both rights (as is the quadrate, not shown), so we just flipped those bones for this photo. The jaws are both rights too. We are hoping to get more of this specimen this summer!

Fun project for our workshadow highschool student: We printed a scale outline of "Jack's B2" tyrannosaur (Daspletosaurus) and superimposed some of the freshly prepped bones on it. Much more to come from this beastie! #FossilFriday#dinosaurs
Horned #dinosaur Centrosaurus c.f. apertus braincase. One of 2 partial skulls we collected 2019-2020. Precisely correlates Judith of Montana with uppermost Oldman & Dino Park Fm of Alberta. Dinosaurs for biostratigraphy! #FossilFriday#scicomm
This is a cool 2020 #dinosaur find for #FossilFriday. I am hopeful that this is a lambeosaurine. There's more of this skull in the hole, according to Jack Wilson who found it! #publiclands#dinosaurs#Fossil
Lower jaw (with teeth) from a #duckbill#dinosaur. The deep slope of the front of the #jaw suggests this might be from a "Lambeosaurine." Jack Wilson found this in a new #bonebed, we will be #excavating in 2021. Lets hope the rest of the #skull is in there!
