@daviddavidwoods Love my Bruins as much as anyone but minus Chip (when the admin actually bought in) all post Bob Toledo hires were mainly becsuse the school showed zero commitment to the program. No big time coaches were going to come. Could they have still made better hires with their limitatio
ESPN’s take on this across a broad range of its talent is so completely out of touch with reality that it’s hard to imagine responsible programming people allowing it to continue.
In an open letter to UCLA chancellor Julio Frenk, I asked for transparency about the possible move to SoFi Stadium and the reasoning for Martin Jarmond's contract extension before Frenk took over while also weighing in on the football coaching search.

In the next edition of UCLA Unlocked, our free weekly newsletter, I am writing an open letter to chancellor Julio Frenk about the state of his school's athletic department and asking for transparency on the big issues facing the Bruins.

The day Nico Iamaleava's NIL contract dispute broke, UCLA got $60,000 from donors.
But the school didn't have them send money to its collective Bruins for Life.
Instead, it had them give to a charity for at-risk youth.
Which is run by the founder of Bruins for Life.
You are so correct. Not like @MartinJarmond has cared about donors who gave to the @RoseBowlStadium, never even bothered to come by our suite over the years. @UCLAchancellor has made no effort to engage the donors who were asked to give to the Rose Bowl on behalf of UCLA over the years. It’s absolute betrayal of all donors. I was actually told by UCLA that the football program’s poor performance was due to playing at The Rose Bowl. What a joke and typical of not owning their own problems.
UCLA football is the story of the day, generating more interest than a Dodgers playoff win. As Jerry Neuheisel likes to say, it’s a great day to be alive and be a Bruin.
"This was the essence of football right here that anything like this can happen."
@CoachNeuheisel on @UCLAFootball's upset win over No. 7 Penn State
His son Jerry called plays for the Bruins in the win.
So happy for this young fella. He (like his Father Rick)loves @UCLAFootball! Now, Will their Administration get off their ass and support 🏈and athletics in general? Thank you.
I'm case anyone was wondering just HOW BAD Martin Jarmond's decision-making has been with the football team...
In case anyone was wondering how truly awful he is as the UCLA AD...
