@FortWayneCPA I’ve got 4; 1 month, 2,3 and 7 and just finished tax season after taking 1 week off for birth, daily “free time” is the problem, you give almost all that up, honestly life is pretty great too, huge peaks and valleys but I think people don’t understand what they signed up for.

@moethecpa lol, I’m a manager in a long established firm with a “we have something you want” approach from retiring partners it’s gonna get very interesting bc they don’t run firm in way that makes it attractive to outside investors and sounds like they want set cash price not % of revenue

@twinhillsfin I’m seeing some otherwise successful wealthy clients invest in residential real estate, SFR in many cases, and with these loan rates they’re cash flow negative across the board, could be bad news long term if they can’t count on appreciation

@moethecpa Or you can do lots of low level work, do no real practice management, use paper, and have clients who think your “their accountant”, that’s my partners (2) situation and they have a great client list but what value? Nobody internally is that interested in buying tbh

@danchodan What about late payment penalties that individuals were assessed after reporting receipt of the income on their 2022 returns after their partnerships filed AAR? Seriously late payment for 2020 tax when you didn’t receive it until 2022?

@EdKrassen One is an organized event in a public space and the other is a destination that most like has to be traveled to? Are there residential nude beaches? No but people live in cities. Nude beaches are cool, done that, but this different and hypocritical to suggest otherwise
