Eddie Howe wasn't that good.

Bruno G carried that team the whole time. They couldn't win without him.

He coached the shithousery out of the team as it never came from him, eventually turning them into his 2018 Bournemouth softies.

He let his assistant manager fight all his battles & take all the limelight as he never had the bollocks to do it himself.

He was deeply insecure and smug. He was not a ppl person & hid away in his office the whole time.

He had 12 tactics boards in there but never had the nouse or balls to move away from a 433 that worked previously.

He never realised there was a major flaw in his team with the 'Eddie Howe gap' behind his midfield that all good opposition coaches exploited continuously.

He needed to make fake friends with the local media due his paranoia and those insecurities.

He would never have been as successful without the Newcastle public creating an almost unstoppable force of momentum post Ashley years around the club & city anyone with half a brain would use & jump on board with.

His in game management was borderline amateur. Due to him being a control freak he found thinking on his feet extremely difficult. If it aint planned he loses his mind.

His hoarding and loyalty to specific players was another result of his deep insecurities. He couldn't trust anyone who he didn't feel was in his "inner circle.

This also led to him going through three sporting directors who were there to help him, but he couldn't relinquish any sense of control.

He will never reach the same heights as a manager ever again and will continue the rest of his career between 8th at best and fighting off relegation.

He would be a disastrous England Manager and wouldn't last more than one tournament, if allowed to even take us to one.

One of the most bipolar managers in this clubs history as achieved extreme highs under his management but showed inexcusable deficiencies.

Without Bruno Guimarães & the post Ashley/new takeover intoxicating momentum, he wouldn't have done anything remotely memorable.
