Remember there were people on here who said Eddie Howe needed to be replaced earlier this season! Said the team were going backwards and he wasn’t the elite manager #nufc needed.

They sounded silly and clueless then but look ridiculous now.

I’ve said this many times before, but even the best managers have bad spells, poor runs and are under pressure, but that is when they need to be backed and supported. Which is exactly what the match going fans did.

This is shaping into Newcastle’s best season in living memory and that is down to, in the main, to Howe and the players. He hasn’t signed a player to improve the first time since the summer of 2023! It’s remarkable to be in this position with the squad
