The 75th Ranger Regiment and JSOC’s Task Force Red. The unit that's killed or captured more HVTs and enemy combatants than any other Special Forces or conventional unit in the US military.

The numbers tell the story. 1st Ranger Battalion alone conducted more than 900 missions in a single Afghanistan deployment, capturing nearly 1,700 enemy combatants, 386 of them high value targets, and killing more than 400.

A separate 1st Battalion rotation in 2019, the unit’s 22nd deployment of the war, ran 198 combat operations and killed or captured roughly 1,900 terrorists. As of 17 December 2020, the Regiment marked 7,000 consecutive days of combat operations.

CAG and DEVGRU run the most sensitive Tier 1 missions. The Regiment runs the most missions, period.

Three battalions plus the Regimental Reconnaissance Company (Task Force Red), hitting multiple objectives per night for years on end across Iraq and Afghanistan. Including support roles on Neptune Spear and the 2019 raid that killed Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
