Pickle Coin: From Rugs to Riches

The Journey of Pickle Coin:

• Initial Launch: Pickle, a meme coin, was launched on https://t.co/Fwv2QFjtmu. After hitting a $5M market cap on Raydium, the original developer rugged the project.

• Community Takeover: The community, seeing the coin's potential, stepped in to defend the price and prevent the token from dying.

• Setbacks: The name "Pickle" (linked to Matt Furie) prevented major listings. The community decided to create a new token with better control.

• First Swap: A 1:1 swap was executed via PICKLESWAP platform built by the team to swap old tokens into the new ones. After a successful swap, team sold the etirety of the old pickle and used the liquidity for the new one. However, bots sniped the new token, leading to liquidity withdrawal and a need for another relaunch.

• Second Relaunch: Amongst other reasons, introducing a general tax feature led to issues with listings on platforms like Dexscreener as it does not yet support this feature.

• Final Relaunch: The community agreed to relaunch the token in the traditional Solana way, removing the tax and airdropping equivalent amounts to holders.
