@gurusamuel1@LeftThe52833 You’re about 40%, I make good money and have the same story. 2% are the ones who don’t help themselves and rob the services they don’t need. Sorry for your issues, but you deserve the benefits. Be surprised how much you’ve lost in benefits to those who abuse it. That is the 2%.
@The_Don_JKB@LeftThe52833 They can’t attack nothing but his looks and opinions. Dude is successful, pays a lot in taxes, and has based takes on the regular. Don’t always agree with the guy, but I do respect his cognitive abilities.
@CorbynRed@TheYASQueen93 Seems like you refuse to acknowledge CD’s failures, this conversation is just stagnant at this point. UChicago and MIT have free game development/ethics courses. Try one of those and maybe your mindset wouldn’t be limited. Have a good night!
@CorbynRed@TheYASQueen93 Overall if the studio was good overall they wouldn’t cancel support and give up on their IPs when they fail. Hello Games is a perfect example of a studio that owned their mistakes and made their game too tier and still improving after 10 years.
@CorbynRed@TheYASQueen93 Community does what studios fail to do. Doesn’t negate the fact they canceled support from the game overall. STOP KILLING GAMES.
@CorbynRed@TheYASQueen93 Nope, Black Ops 3 zombies chronicles was the best. That’s just fucking zombies lol. WoW Lich King even out beat them in 2008. 😂 Imagine scamming your customers $30 for the patches that fixed their shit game lol.
@CorbynRed@TheYASQueen93 Pre-dev for 3 years now. I worked in the industry before and currently have my own Indie Studio. That’s never a good sign. Game will most likely come out slop or not meet expectations due to switching their Engine entirely. That’s IF it comes out lol.
@CorbynRed@TheYASQueen93 Feelings ≠ Truth, they mask logic when it’s laying right in front of you free of charge. Lmk how Ubisoft, Bungie, and the other 250+ AAA studios are doing. Indie Studios for the win!
@CorbynRed@TheYASQueen93 Having a goal of 300 employees by 2027 isn’t evidence of success. Companies make growth projections all the time. Investors care about revenue, profitability, retention, and cash flow—not headcount targets in a press release. So far CD has still a long way to go for a AAA studio.
@CorbynRed@TheYASQueen93 Expansion plans suggest confidence from management, they don’t automatically disprove concerns about player retention, revenue, support cuts, or long-term sustainability. Both can be true at the same time. With current atmosphere we see today, downsizing is going to hit hard.
@CorbynRed@TheYASQueen93 Opened 2023, 80 employees. Also cut support cause they couldn’t handle the pressure of their failed IP. Investors already threatening folding. Sure sounds successful, not innovative. Copied many games and executed poorly. Cope harder when all AAA studios are plummeting.
@CorbynRed@TheYASQueen93 Laid off 10% of staff after Cyberpunk failure. Yeah going strong lol. Stay reading IGN and watching your favorite studios plunder. I have more talent in my left thumb than half their dev team.
