📣 BIG NEWS!
The Steam page for Harlow's Climb is officially LIVE!
This has been a dream of mine for a long time, and seeing my very first game on Steam is something I'll never forget.
If you'd like to support an indie developer, the single biggest thing you can do right now is wishlist the game. Every wishlist helps more than you might realize; it tells Steam that people are interested and helps the game reach even more players.
✨ Wishlist here:

I'd also love to make game development my full-time career someday. Because of that, I'll soon be setting up a way to directly support IcePunch Studios through a donation platform like Buy Me a Coffee (or another service if you have suggestions). While it's completely optional, every bit of support will go directly toward the continued development of Harlow's Climb and future games.
This project has been a true labor of love, and I'm incredibly grateful for everyone who's followed this journey so far. Whether you've liked a post, shared an update, given feedback, or simply believed in this dream, thank you. ❤️
Let's see how many wishlists we can reach together! If you enjoy what you see, please consider wishlisting the game and sharing the Steam page with your friends, family, or anyone who loves indie games. Every share makes a difference.
Thank you all for being part of this adventure.

🎮 The Journey Starts Here. (2026/2027 Roadmap)
When I started developing "Harlow's Climb", I thought I was just making my first indie game.
Somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn't just creating a game, I was building a universe.
Today, I wanted to share the long-term vision for **IcePunch Studios**.
🪜 **Harlow's Climb** is only the beginning.
🍕 **Pizza Domain** is a future project clicker game to help grow the studio and support even bigger ideas releasing on IOS/Android.
😴 **Harlow's Sleep** will continue Harlow's story in an entirely new genre and begin expanding what I hope becomes the Harlow Universe.
My goal isn't just to make games.
My goal is to create heartfelt pixel-art adventures that people remember, stories about perseverance, exploration, kindness, and always finding the strength to keep climbing.
This roadmap isn't a list of promises or release dates. It's the dream I'm working toward, one step at a time.
Thank you to everyone who's supported IcePunch Studios so far. Whether you're planning on wishlisting
Harlow's Climb, shared a post, left feedback, or believed in what I'm building, you've helped make this possible.
Every step matters.
Every climb counts.
❤️ Thank you for being part of the journey.

🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE! 🚨
We’ve officially entered the Steam review process for Harlow’s Climb!
Unfortunately, this means the demo will no longer be releasing on July 4th as originally planned. I’m definitely disappointed, and I know many of you were looking forward to it as well. However, I’d rather take the extra time to ensure everything is approved and ready for the best possible launch.
The new target release window for the demo is July 13th–17th.
I want to sincerely thank everyone who has followed the project, shared feedback, and supported Harlow’s Climb so far. Seeing people excited about a game I’ve been building means more than I can put into words.
One of my current goals is to reach 100 wishlists and continue growing a community around the game. Every wishlist, follow, share, and comment helps more than you know.
There’s still a lot of work ahead before the demo launches—and even more before the full release—but reaching this stage is a huge milestone for both me and IcePunch Studios.
Thank you all for being part of this journey. The climb continues! 💙

🚀 Harlow's Climb – Demo 2 Development Update
I've been hard at work on the second demo for Harlow's Climb, and I'm excited to share the progress that's been made so far.
Over the past week, I've focused on improving the overall gameplay experience by refining movement, combat, checkpoints, and world design. The game is beginning to feel much more polished and closer to the vision I originally had when I started this project.
✅ Updated environments and visual improvements
✅ Improved player movement and responsiveness
✅ Enhanced combat mechanics
✅ Save and respawn system improvements
✅ New checkpoints and progression features
✅ Continued optimization and bug fixes
While the visuals and art direction are still evolving, Demo 2 represents a major step forward compared to the original build. My goal is to create a more immersive world that feels alive while maintaining the challenging platforming experience at the core of the game.
As always, Harlow's Climb is being developed by a solo developer, and every piece of feedback, share, follow, and comment helps tremendously. Seeing people support the project keeps me motivated to continue pushing it forward.
Thank you all for following the journey so far. More updates, gameplay footage, and feature showcases will be coming soon as Demo 2 gets closer to release!

🎮 Development Update
Last night, I finally found some art packs that fit the direction I want to take the game. While I’m still learning the art side of game development and working toward creating my own assets, that journey is going to take time as I continue improving my pixel art and design skills.
For now, these new tilesets have helped bring the world to life in a way I hadn’t achieved before. There are still areas that need polishing, particularly with terrain blending and visual consistency, but the difference is already significant. Everyone I’ve shown the latest build to has agreed that the game feels much stronger visually than before.
I’ve also been implementing new visual elements and mechanics, and I’m very happy with the progress so far. If I’m being honest, the art side of development is still what concerns me the most, but seeing the world come together has given me a lot more confidence in the project’s direction.
Next week, I’ll be sharing a closer look at some of the design changes currently being implemented, including updated environments, visual improvements, and other development progress as the game continues to evolve. I’m excited to show everyone how much the project is beginning to take shape.
As always, thank you for the support. So many people have reached out with encouragement, feedback, and kind words throughout this journey, and it truly means a lot. Your support helps keep me motivated to continue improving and pushing the game forward every day.
“Stay tuned—next week’s update will showcase some of the biggest visual and design improvements the game has seen so far.” - Huddy
🎮 Dev Demo Log — 06/09
Over the past several days, I’ve been focused on improving the core systems that make the game feel better to play. This includes refining combat, movement, and the overall game structure while also adding new quality-of-life features for players.
One of the latest additions is an expanded options menu, including features such as save data management. The game now automatically saves when selecting "Return to Title," allowing players to continue their adventure right where they left off after a gaming session.
I’m also excited to announce that Harlow’s Climb will be receiving a major visual overhaul in future development. This update will bring improved artwork, upgraded graphics, and a more immersive world designed to make Harlow’s journey feel more alive and engaging.
As development continues, the goal is to expand the game into a playable demo featuring approximately 1–2 hours of gameplay. Planned additions include:
🔥 Respawn campfires and checkpoints
👾 Enemies and combat encounters
🧗 New platforms, pathways, and traversal challenges
🪙 Coins and collectibles to discover
I’ll continue sharing development updates and behind-the-scenes progress as these features are implemented. I’m excited to show how the game evolves and to hear your feedback along the way.
Thank you for supporting Harlow’s Climb and IcePunch Studios. Every follow, share, comment, and word of encouragement helps make this project possible and motivates me to keep pushing forward.
❤️ More updates coming soon!
📷 Dev Log Update — 06/08
A lot of progress was made last night! I focused on building a stronger game introduction, creating new artwork for the opening sequence, and designing the official app icon. Finding the right music was one of the biggest challenges, but after a lot of searching, I was able to secure tracks that fit the game while remaining copyright-safe.
To avoid flooding this page with daily posts, I’ll be sharing a larger Alpha Development Update tomorrow (06/09) that showcases all of the recent changes and improvements. Development is moving quickly, and after this next update, the game will begin undergoing a major visual overhaul as I replace many of the current textures and art assets with higher-quality designs.
I’m also targeting July 7th for the first playable demo release, though there is a possibility that date may move forward if development continues at its current pace. The demo will initially be available on Windows and Mac. Mobile releases for iOS and Android are planned for the future, but platform publishing costs and additional fees make them difficult to support during early development.
Thank you all for following the journey and supporting the development of Harlow’s Climb. Every like, comment, share, and follow helps more than you know. Your support keeps me motivated to continue improving the game and creating the best experience possible.
❤️ Thank you for being part of the adventure.
I’m excited to share the first test gameplay footage of Harlow’s Climb, a 2D platformer currently in development.
In Harlow’s Climb, players ascend a towering structure, collecting coins along the way and delivering them to the wizard waiting at the top to claim victory.
This footage is an early development build intended to gather feedback from players and showcase the progress I’ve made so far. As my first game project, it’s been an incredible learning experience, and I’m looking forward to continuing to improve it with every update.
Please keep in mind that many elements are still a work in progress, including graphics, animations, level design, and overall presentation. My current focus has been on creating a solid, playable foundation and building the game’s core systems.
If you’d like to support the project, consider liking, sharing, and following Harlow’s Climb. Every bit of support helps increase visibility and motivates me to keep pushing forward as an indie developer.
Thank you all for your support—I can’t wait to share more updates with you soon!
