@LIWEI_TWCapital People are a lot less active when things are not just going up all of the time. I suspect alot of people also got burned buying a lot of over hyped stocks
Give yourself a reality check.
Are some of the stocks you are holding priced like you are already in 2030?
Is it driven by narrative or actual numbers?
Are you holding on to something due to sunk cost?
Allow yourself to do this critical analysis on yourself.
The analysts you blindly make your trades after are just as susceptible to their own confirmation bias as you are. Trust your gut and your own research
"Bloomberg's organization is funding this," Louis Rossmann said about the 3D printing legislation that aims to control what you're allowed to print (and potentially leads to closed sourcing of 3D printing). At 8:30 AM Pacific Time today, there is a 'public safety committee' hearing in Sacramento that will serve as the last time people can speak publicly in opposition to 3D printing legislation which aims to control what you print -- possibly resulting in forcefully feeding 3D prints through online corporate servers and potentially leading to the 3D printing community going more closed-source with more government oversight.
There are likewise implications for open source 3D printing hardware and software, which could face restrictions and enshittification.
Louis Rossmann will be speaking with the committee and is hoping viewers show up at least to just be a presence and show the committee that people care, or at best, to speak about why these kinds of laws are damaging to ownership while not achieving what they claim to achieve.
If you can make it today, please attend to show your opposition to this controlling legislation that benefits the consolidation of printing into fewer private corporations. This is how we get monopolization in 3D printing, because it benefits companies that play ball with forcing internet connections.

Although claimed to be targeted at "bad shapes," this sort of technology could also feasibly be used to scan prints and determine if they are breaching intellectual property -- the monster character you personally modeled and want to print for fun could be blocked by object detection in the future of 3D printing for resembling, say, a Pokemon. Obviously, feeding prototypes and artwork through corporate servers also could lead to being ripped off, to data breaches (that lead to being ripped off), or just to eventually feeding your prints into some sort of AI learning server to either rip you off or analyze the cylinder you printed and determine it's a bad cylinder, not a good cylinder.
This is important. It is physically impossible for GN to make it out there in time due to the distance, but we will be covering this and trying to attend hearings on other similar issues as we become aware of them.
i follow/subscribe to @aleabitoreddit, i have post notifications on, in feb/march i made the same 100-200% in a day after he tweeted a ticker on things as obscure as xlu etf and iqe
he has 900K followers now. all his followers feel that โno stock ever goes redโ, and many may not be doing their own deep diligence, but feeling increasing confidence to add more risk over time to the names heโs posting
the problem is weโre in an environment where everyone is excited and buying names deep down the stack right now, but that likely doesnโt last forever. Sivers making lasers and pivoting to CPO is great, but at some point that needs to be reflected in continued revenue/profit to justify the valuation. Even if the bottleneck story is true on these names (may be for lasers and cpo), if the valuation heโs pumping these micro caps to only gets justified in 2035 or something, market may lose interest in the bottleneck trade between now and decide to sell.
at some point along the line, the last people holding the stocks of these microcaps heโs tweeting about with do much enthusiasm are in a dangerous spot. Weโve seen similar sentiment changes happen in 2021 with nfts, and tons of other times. We may think lasers are different than monkey jpegs, but theyโre being treated similarly in the market in many ways.
Anyways, I think serenity is smart clearly, the posts are dilligenced, but i think anyone following and copy trading should proceed with caution โ ๏ธ these names are pretty different fundamentally from some of the hundred billion dollar companies weโre seeing have exploding growth
To me, alot of the photonics sell off is people waking up and realizing it's not 2027-2028 yet.
The companies are still good, but it's not the future yet๐
I'm still holding $SIVE $LPK $GLW $MTSI $XFAB
I got in early enough to not be worried about this drawdown.
