The Rare Cancers Bill has passed! I am proud to have supported this bill all the way through parliament from the beginning.

The bill will improve rare cancer treatment by enhancing data-sharing and requiring public reporting on access to life-saving orphan drugs—offering new hope to patients and families who’ve had to wait far too long for action.

This has the potential to save thousands of lives. It’s one of the things I’m proudest of during my first year as an MP.

Good politics changes lives and the best politics saves lives. Today is a day of the best politics delivering.

I was on BBC Surrey this morning talking about overstay, derelict, and abandoned boats blighting our river bank - all ahead of my adjournment debate about it in Parliament today.

I have made getting this fixed a priority since I was elected in July and got the two largest boats and several smaller ones moved, while the EA also issued notices to other vessels. However, progress has stalled so I’m pushing for further action this time taking it straight to Parliament and the Minister, securing a debate in the House of Commons today, where I will hold the Government to account and demand immediate and effective solutions.

Great to show off my home town #thamesditton to @itvlondon for #generalelection Focus was on #sewage #EsherandWalton is a river community. The Mole is one of most polluted rivers in England, Thames had 10 billion l of sewage dumped in it since 2020. We want to fix it @LibDems
