The more a woman values freedom, the less she wants to listen to a man.
And the more a man values freedom, the less he wants to commit to a woman.
She must desire to be his more than she wishes to be free.
And he must desire to take care of her more than he wishes to be free.
The day I had a mindset switch while watching Peter Obi was when Mbaka wanted to embarrass him into making a donation.
Peter Obi, despite how awkward the entire thing was getting; insisted that he doesnโt give money unless he is given a breakdown of the project the money will be spent on.
Rather than getting dragged, he left that conversation as the bigger person.
It taught me that when you stand on strong principles and your belief - you get more appealing, appeal does not come from trying to be diplomatic - it comes from absolute fanaticism around your own principles.
Watch this video and maybe you will have the same mindset shift as I did years ago:

Sometime around 1986 or 87, Mobile Anti-Riot Police men (Mopol) were at UNIBEN gate shooting teargas at protesting students inside the campus and trying to contain the riot. We decided to go guerilla on them and ambush them by cutting them off behind the sports complex.
We were in the bush listening to them laughing at the students as they shot teargas and having fun. We had made this Molotov cocktail and wanted to throw it at them but luckily they saw us first and fired teargas at us.
We quickly ran away. It could have been live bullets if we had thrown that bottle and we would all be dead today. That is one of the dumbest and yet most thrilling thing I had done in my life.
We had watched too many commando movies and if we were armed, those policemen also would have all been dead. The ambush would have been successful.
