Chimney swifts have returned from South America, and they're here to eat up to 12,000 flying bugs, including mosquitoes, a day.

People are capping their chimneys and destroying the only nesting sites these birds have left.

Check your chimney cap. If it has mesh smaller than 6 inches, you just made it useless to swifts.
