They responded by pulling back support for those bands. In the 2000s the music industry shifted heavily toward promoting rappers and hip-hop.

The goal was clear, stop White male anger and prevent it from rising up against the system. Rock was deliberately sidelined. This was cultural control.

Richard Garriott, creator of the classic Ultima games and known as “Lord British,” is reportedly close to regaining the rights to the series from Electronic Arts. This could happen as early as next year.

He created Ultima in 1981, and the series became one of the most important RPG franchises in gaming history. EA bought Origin Systems and the rights in the early 1990s, after which the franchise has been mostly inactive.

Garriott stated that he has repeatedly attempted to revive Ultima
