Kieran, Dad Matters Lead at Home-Start UK, attended the APPG on Fatherhood, chaired by MP Freddie van Mierlo, who generously shared his own personal journey into fatherhood, and was organised by Future Men
A powerful presentation from Mark Williams on fathers’ mental health.
There was a fantastic mix ofdad-focused and father-facing organisations, both in the room and online, including the Fatherhood Institute, Father 2 Father, DadPad, and Fatherhood Solutions, among many others.
Heading to the big smoke today for the APPG on Fatherhood.
It’s such a big deal to have this kind of group coming together to put fatherhood on the agenda. It brings dads to the table and sparks meaningful conversations that can lead to real change.
Proud to be representing Home-Start and the Dad Matters team, and the thousands of dads we support every year.
Huge thanks to the brilliant Future Men (who I can’t seem to tag!) for leading the way in organising this event.
Stay tuned—more updates coming later this morning!
