I'm not denying the appeal of FFXIV's story, but I never got to endgame nor even considered it after spending too much time going through the story, it burnt me out of even wanting to play the game.

It will not hurt you or anyone if someone decides to skip some of the dreadful parts of the story, and lord are there some

Some people want to do end game content, I had to go through so much story that one point, I gave up on the idea of even raiding because getting there casually takes way too long and burnt me out on the game.

Like, I could say cats are cunts (they arent) but you wouldn't assume I meant just a few, you'd assume I meant that I hated cats, that's the point being made!

@Xero_Reality Reach was good story wise but i do agree it took a different artistic turn, though one could argue it may also be a choice due to advancements in graphics over the years, allowing artists to add more details we might not have noticed on old textures, both styles are great tho!
